The company was founded in 1886 and its stock can be found on the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Its wide array of products are sold in 175 countries.

A s a result of its funding of international education programs, Johnson & Johnson was also the first corporation awarded the Benjamin Franklin Award for Public Diplomacy by the U.S. State Department.
Johnson & Johnson’s many brands include countless everyday items that have become household names They range from medications to first aid supplies. Some of these names include Band-Aid, Tylenol medications, Johnson’s baby products, Neutrogena skin and beauty products, Clean & Clear facial wash and Acuvue contact lenses.
Johnson & Johnson bought Frontier Contact Lens Company in 1981 changed the name to Vistakon, which produces the now famous Acuvue.
