After reports surfaced of an alleged ISIS hit list with the names, addresses and pictures of US military personnel had been published on line, the US reacted by removing their personnel from the volatile country of Yemen.
The White House condemned violent actions taken by rebels in Yemen and reaffirmed its support for the president of Yemen. The US also threatened sanctions against the opposition forces if they don’t stop the attacks.
It is feared that the chaos caused by the opposition rebels will allow terrorist organizations already stationed in Yemen, such as al-Qaeda and ISIS, to gain strength.
