The Department of Veteran Affairs has agreed to reimburse paralyzed veterans for the purchase of robotic exo-skeleton legs. It is the first time that federal policy has included robotic legs in their coverage. The reimbursement is only for exo-skeleton’s from ReWalk Robotics. ReWalk is a for-profit company headquartered in Israel.
